The water is just too cold to wake up the fish! A few people did pretty well on Crowley. I'm told that if you were fishing near Hilton Point, things weren't too bad and trollers were doing okay near McGee Bay. Overall, this was a nice tune-up weekend and a chance to get out and enjoy some of the most impressive scenery in the world. Now's your chance...tell us your experience.

Caddis flies are producing well by mid-afternoon. This is always a nice time to fish this section of the Owens. The water's flowing about 45 cfs into Pleasant Valley and the water is clear. Get down there now because it's starting to warm up and the snakes will be out in a month or so!
